After dark it does what its name promises. Named Badr, the full moon in Arabic, the sphere hangs round and quiet while thousands of hand-pierced openings scatter a constellation of small lights across the ceiling and down the walls.
Made by hand in Marrakech
One maalem in Marrakech raises the brass and opens the pattern hole by hole in a single sheet. Every lamp is made to order, and no two carry exactly the same piercing. That slight variation is the signature of handwork, not a flaw in it.

Choose gold, silver, bronze, or black. The socket is E26, 60 W max, bulb not included; fit a warm bulb, 2200 to 2700 K, so the pattern stays soft. It arrives fully wired, made to order in 3 to 4 weeks, then 5 to 9 working days by tracked courier.

The making
Cut, pierced and finished by hand in a Marrakech workshop. Small drifts in the pattern are the signature of the person who made yours, not a flaw. You order, a maalem begins; nothing is pulled from a shelf.
Bulb and wiring
E26 socket, 60 W max, bulb not included. Fit a warm bulb, 2200 to 2700 K, so the light stays soft and the pattern gentle. Ceiling and wall pieces arrive fully wired for hardwiring; table pieces plug in with a US plug.
Shipping and returns
Three to four weeks in the workshop, then five to nine working days by tracked courier, free worldwide. Import duty is not included and is set by your country. 14 day returns on unused pieces in their original packaging.

Your lamp is not assembled from parts on a line. One artisan cuts, pierces and finishes the whole piece, and the small drifts in the pattern are his signature.
Hold it beside another of the same design and they will not quite match. That is the point.
