Our products

Every piece is handmade to order in Marrakech, Morocco. Small variations in piercing, hammering, engraving and finish are inherent to handwork; no two pieces are identical, and such variation is not a defect. Dimensions are stated per size on each product page and may vary slightly. Product photography is illustrative; the piece you receive is made by hand to the listed specifications.

Electrical

Ceiling and wall pieces arrive fully wired for hardwired installation and table pieces arrive with a plug, as stated on each product page. Sockets are E26, rated 60 W maximum, bulbs not included. Hardwired fixtures should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local codes. We are not responsible for improper installation.

Orders and pricing

All prices are in US dollars. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where a listing contains a pricing or description error; in that case you receive a full refund. Payment is taken at checkout. Order acceptance occurs when we send the order confirmation.

Shipping and returns

Shipping timelines, import duties, returns and cancellations are governed by our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of these terms.

Intellectual property

The Hands of Atlas name, mark, photography and site content belong to Hands of Atlas LLC and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Room preview tool

Some product pages offer a room preview: you upload a photograph of your own space and we generate an illustration of the piece placed in it, shown by day and lit at night.

The preview is generated by artificial intelligence and is an artistic impression only. It is not a measurement, a survey, a design service or a guarantee. Scale, proportion, colour, finish, brightness, the pattern the light throws and the position of the fixture are all approximations, and the generated image may differ materially from how the piece looks in your home. Do not rely on a preview when deciding whether a piece will physically fit, whether it can be installed in a given position, or how it will be wired. Use the stated dimensions on the product page, and consult a qualified electrician for installation.

By uploading a photograph you confirm that it is yours or that you have permission to use it, and that it does not contain other people who have not agreed to appear, or anything unlawful, offensive or infringing. Please do not upload photographs containing identifiable people, children, documents or other sensitive information. You grant us permission to process that photograph for the sole purpose of producing your preview.

The tool is offered free and as a convenience. We limit how many previews each visitor may generate, and we may change, suspend or withdraw the feature at any time. Previews are not stored on our servers, so please save any image you wish to keep. We are not liable for a purchase decision made on the basis of a preview.
