Cut opening by opening, by hand.

Pierced is the signature technique of this workshop: a maalem marks the brass, then cuts every opening individually so light escapes as a pattern instead of a glare. A single large dome can take days.
Hold two of the same design side by side and the piercings will not match exactly. That difference is the proof a person made it, not a press.
